BOYSEN®® Acqua Epoxy™ Acrylic Water-based Epoxy Paint
BOYSEN®® Acqua Epoxy™ is a two-component water-based acrylic epoxy paint that has superior solvent, chemical, and stain resistance. It is ideal for concrete floors and properly primed metal surfaces. It has the advantages of easier application and better weather resistance properties.
B‑2910 serves as a Curing Agent designed to be compounded with Acqua Epoxy.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Scrape all existing paint by manual or mechanical methods.
Remove oil and grease by using detergents or degreasers.
Surface to be painted should be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt, contaminants, and all loose grit and mortar.
PAINTING SCHEDULE
Mix 3 parts of BOYSEN®® Epoxy Primer White B‑2200 to 1 part of its catalyst. Allow 20 minutes induction time.
Thin the prepared mixture with BOYSEN®® Epoxy Reducer B‑55 in a 1:1 ratio.
Apply as primer coating on bare concrete floors. Let dry overnight.
Mix 4 parts BOYSEN®® Acqua Epoxy™ and 1 part of its catalyst. Allow 20 minutes induction time. Mixture may gel if not used within 24 hours.
Apply 2 to 3 coats of prepared BOYSEN®® Epoxy Enamel. Allow 8 hours to overnight before recoating.
Thin the prepared mixture with BOYSEN®® Epoxy Reducer B‑55 in a 1:1 ratio.
Apply as primer coating on bare concrete floors. Let dry overnight.

NOTES
Use only BOYSEN®® Epoxy Reducer B‑55 as thinning solvent for primer. BOYSEN®® Acqua Epoxy™ can be used as supplied.
Application of topcoat should be done within 7 days after priming to ensure good intercoat adhesion, otherwise re-application of primer is needed.
Allow the product to cure for 3 days for foot traffic abrasion and 7 days for heavy-duty use.
