BOYSEN®® Lacquer Products

BOYSEN®® Clear Gloss Lacquer B‑1250 is a nitrocellulose, solvent-based, high-gloss lacquer varnish finish that dries to a hard durable film.
BOYSEN®® Clear Dead Flat Lacquer B‑1253 is a nitrocellulose, solvent-based, flat lacquer varnish finish that dries to a hard, durable film. Its high-build properties make an ideal choice for furniture, fixtures, and other woodworks.
BOYSEN®® Water White Clear Gloss Lacquer B‑1258 is a high grade, durable, clear gloss lacquer finish that enhances the natural grain of interior woodworks.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface to be painted should be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt, and other foreign matter.
Hammer all nails deep enough to apply wood filler.
Sand surface until wood is smooth to the touch.
Dust off surfaces completely then wipe with a clean rag.

PAINTING SCHEDULE

Stain:
BOYSEN®® Oil Wood Stain (optional)
Sealer Coat:
BOYSEN®® Lacquer Sanding Sealer B‑1254, sanded lightly before topcoat application
Final coat:
BOYSEN®® Clear Gloss Lacquer B‑1250, Clear Dead Flat Lacquer B‑1253, or Water White Clear Gloss Lacquer B‑1258

NOTES

Use only BOYSEN®® Lacquer Thinner B‑50 as thinning solvent.
If necessary, add approximately 10% by volume of BOYSEN®® Lacquer Flo B‑1205 to the ready-to-use topcoat mixture.
